About

Founded by educators

Physion was started in 2022 by a small group of high school physics teachers who saw too many talented students held back by limited access to quality physics instruction and competition prep resources.

What began as informal after-school study sessions has grown into a structured tutoring program. Our volunteer tutors include current and former physics teachers, university students, and working professionals who share a passion for physics education.

We remain committed to keeping all of our programs free and accessible.

Our Approach

  • Small group and 1:1 formats to maximize engagement
  • Problem-solving focused curriculum
  • Regular practice with past competition problems
  • Flexible scheduling to work around student availability

Get Involved

We're always looking for volunteer tutors with strong physics backgrounds. If you're a teacher, university student, or professional interested in helping, reach out at volunteer@physion.org.
